The Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah (FDI) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a gathering and outreach event at Daar el-Qolam 3 Islamic Boarding School on Monday, February 3, 2025. The event, which started at 14:00, was aimed at 12th-grade students who will be leaving the pesantren in about a month. Representatives from FDI attending the promotion roadshow included Dr. Mumin Rouf (Vice Dean for General Administration), Dr. Fatihunnada (Vice Dean for Student Affairs), Daud Lintang, MA (Secretary of the Undergraduate Program), and Waskito Wibowo, MA (Administrative Staff).

The event began with a welcome speech from the Head of Daar el-Qolam 3 Islamic Boarding School, Kyai Ahmad Reza Zaky Aulia, M.Pd. In his speech, he humorously remarked that UIN Jakarta is like "Daar el-Qolam 5." He made this statement due to the large number of Daar el-Qolam alumni who continue their studies at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, making the university feel like an extension of the pesantren.

Following this, Dr. Mu’min Rouf, who is also an alumnus of Daar el-Qolam, delivered a heartfelt response. He expressed his gratitude and admiration for the warm welcome from the students of Daar el-Qolam 3. "We are truly honored by the extraordinary welcome from the Daar el-Qolam students. Initially, we expected around 100 attendees, but to our surprise, 450 students participated," he said.

The event continued with a presentation on the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah. Dr. Fatihunnada provided an overview of FDI and introducing its vision, mission. This was followed by a presentation from Daud Lintang, who highlighted the advantages of FDI, emphasizing its facilities, outstanding programs, and the academic opportunities available to students.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, followed by the distribution of souvenirs to participants as a token of appreciation for their enthusiasm, and a group photo session.
