Employee Quality Improvement

On Thursday, March 24, 2022, the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FDI) held an event to Improve Employee Quality with the theme "Optimization of FDI UIN Jakarta Human Resource Management Towards Global Recognition." The event took place offline in the FDI Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the FDI building and was attended by 31 participants, including leaders and staff from the Faculty of Islamic Studies at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, as well as several university leaders.

In the opening and guidance session, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Rodoni, M.M., the Vice Rector for General Administration, conveyed several key points: 1) We must maintain our commitment to our own university. 2) FDI must immediately open a Doctoral Program (S-3). 3) Lecturers should prioritize on-campus activities over off-campus activities. 4) After the PTN-BH transition, FDI will only have 2 Vice Deans, with no Head of Departments or Coordinators, and no Sub-Head or Sub-Coordinators, only Managers will be appointed. 5) When working, don’t just show up at the office with no contributions. 6) FDI’s absorption rate is currently at 12%. Budget use should be effective, efficient, and urgent. 7) To achieve Global Recognition, FDI must have a Sandwich Program for students, and lecturers must conduct research indexed in Scopus.

For the Employee Quality Improvement event, FDI invited Nanang Qosim Yusuf/Naqoy (Master Trainer/Indonesian Consciousness Speaker) as a speaker. During his presentation, he emphasized: 1) We are entering the fifth age, the Age of Wisdom, an era of awareness. 2) To reach global recognition, we now need to think beyond "Out of the Box"—we need to think "No Box." 3) Creativity comes when we are in a "pushed" situation. 4) Improvement leads to innovation, and professionalism leads to entrepreneurship. 5) Unpam has the concept of affordable tuition, charging only 200,000, but when calculated, the expenses exceed the income. However, they have a solution to cover this gap by generating income from accessories such as renting out the canteen, etc. This is similar to football clubs earning revenue from jersey sales, tickets, etc. 6) The difference between dreamers and leaders is the letter "N," which I interpret as Now (The Power of Now)—do not procrastinate. 7) According to scientific research, habits are built in at least 21 days. Start by changing "Di" to "Me"—from passive to active. 8) People who fail always have a thousand reasons, while successful people only have one reason: "They have no excuse." (as).
