The Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah (FDI) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held an Introduction to Academic Culture and Student Life (PBAK) program on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, for new master's students of the Dirasat Islamiyah program. The event took place in the FDI Meeting Room and began at 1:30 PM.

A total of 15 new students participated in the event, consisting of 10 male and 5 female students, all of whom showed great enthusiasm to learn more about academic life and the learning system at FDI.

The first session featured a presentation on the main library facilities and academic journal literacy by Dr. Agus Rifai, who introduced the students to various digital and printed resources available to support their academic writing and research.

Next, Dr. Imam Sujoko delivered a session on academic writing techniques, covering the structure of scholarly writing, proper citation methods, and the importance of originality in academic work.

The final session was led by Willy Oktaviano, who provided a comprehensive explanation of academic and administrative procedures in the master’s program, including thesis supervision, course schedules, and available academic services.
