The Magister Dirasat Islamiyah program began the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year by holding an Academic and Student Culture Orientation (PBAK) on Thursday, September 5, 2024. The event took place in the campus meeting room and was attended by 18 new students, as well as faculty and program leaders.

This annual activity featured Agus Rifa’i as the main speaker. Agus Rifa’i, who also serves as the Head of the Main Library at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, delivered a presentation on library facilities and scientific journal literacy.

The topic was chosen to introduce postgraduate students to academic literacy from the outset, aiming to enhance academic writing productivity and publication in reputable journals. Mastering academic literacy is expected to facilitate the final thesis writing process and increase the percentage of students graduating on time.

This orientation event marked a strategic first step for new students to enter a more focused and productive academic world.
