On Thursday, May 25, 2023 the 128th graduation ceremony of the Dirasat Islamiyah Study Program at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta was held. Sayyidah Naila Nabila, who is also known as Kak Naila, became one of the exemplary students with the title “Best Thesis Writer”. The thesis she wrote was entitled “HUKM AT-TA'AMUL BI AL-BITKUIN ‘INDA MAJALIS AL-’ULAMA FI AL-'ALAM AL-ISLAMI” In her thesis she conducted an analytical method to explain the law of using bitcoin in the fatwas of scholars from several Islamic countries, including: Egypt, Palestine, Turkey, as well as fatwas from Indonesian Islamic organizations, namely Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah, etc. She revealed that in taking the title he was pessimistic about the success of the title, she often received dismissive responses from some people. However, her soul was increasingly challenged to write it. Like other students, there must be obstacles in the middle of writing a thesis. She also experienced it. However, according to her “as long as there is a will, there must be hope” that's where she continues to be excited to write it. In fact, she was offered a thesis jockey, but according to her it was an act of cheating and irresponsible. So she remained on the initial principle; “as long as there is a will, there must be hope”. According to her, who is familiarly called kak Naila, said that indeed the title of the best thesis writer has always been her dream. Seeing the title of her thesis which is quite brave to highlight the problem of bitcoin which always causes endless controversy. However, when several obstacles hit her, these hopes began to fade. However, God has set a beautiful scenario for Naila. After many obstacles, her dream was realized. With a beautiful smile, Naila closed this interview with her quote, “Struggling is a must, achieving S.S.I is not always smooth, remember the FDI lecturers are always waiting for news of graduation, by always sending sincere prayers.
