The Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyyah delegation was received by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Morocco
The Dean of the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah (FDI) and the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs & Head of the Masters Study Program were welcomed by the Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, who is also accredited to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Drs. H. Hasrul Azwar at the Ambassador's residence of the Indonesian Embassy in Rabat.
Ambassador Hasrul Azwar expressed his support for the FDI delegation's visit and provided guidance on the programs initiated by FDI. He also emphasized the importance of implementing the points of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that had been signed.
The Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences (FDI), Dr. Yuli Yasin, explained that during her visit to Morocco with the team, they had several agendas. These include ensuring that FDI students have partner universities that are willing to accept them for one semester as part of the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. Additionally, they aim to establish research and publication collaborations and introduce the Dirasat Islamiyah Master Study Program to Moroccan and Indonesian students in Morocco. During the visit, the delegation will visit three universities: Mohammed V University Rabat, AbdelMalek Essaadi University Tetouan, and Moulay Ben Abdellah University Fes.
Furthermore, in addition to holding discussions about cooperation programs with the leaders of the three universities, the Dean of FDI will deliver a public lecture at the University of Moulay Ben Abdellah Fes, with the theme, "The Development of Islamic Studies in Indonesia".***
