Ciputat, January 10, 2025—On Friday, January 10, 2025, students from Tahfizh Plus Khoiru Ummah School conducted an educational visit to the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah (FDI) at the State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The event took place in the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah Hall and was attended by approximately 50 participants, accompanied by teachers and school staff.

This visit aimed to introduce Tahfizh Plus Khoiru Ummah students to the world of higher education, particularly in the field of Islamic studies. In his welcoming remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah, Dr. Yuli Yasin, MA, expressed his pride and appreciation for the school’s initiative in organizing this activity.

“We are honored to host a visit from Tahfizh Plus Khoiru Ummah School. Higher education is one of the paths to deepen Islamic knowledge in a more systematic way, and we hope this visit will inspire all of you to pursue higher studies,” said Dr. Yuli Yasin, MA, in his remarks.

The event began with an introduction to the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah, including an explanation of the study programs offered, the faculty’s strengths, and its contributions to Islamic academic scholarship in Indonesia. Additionally, the students were invited to take a brief tour around the campus, including lecture halls and the faculty library.

The Head of Tahfizh Plus Khoiru Ummah School, Ustazh Dede Sandra, expressed her appreciation for the warm welcome from the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah. “This visit provides our students with new insights into the importance of pursuing higher education, especially in fields relevant to Islamic studies. We hope this will motivate them to continue learning and excelling,” she said.

The students were enthusiastic throughout the event. They actively asked questions about the enrollment process, student life, and career opportunities after completing studies at the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah. At the end of the visit, the school and faculty exchanged souvenirs as a symbol of good collaboration and friendship.

This visit is expected to be a good starting point in establishing a relationship between Tahfizh Plus Khoiru Ummah School and the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Additionally, it was a valuable experience for the students to better understand the academic world and foster their passion for learning.
