Ciputat, February 4, 2025 – The Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah UIN Jakarta held a workshop titled "Enhancing Lecturers' Ability in Utilizing Digital Media for Learning" on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. The event took place in the meeting room of the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah and was attended by faculty lecturers.

This workshop aimed to improve lecturers' competence in integrating digital media into the learning process to create more interactive and effective teaching methods. The event featured two expert speakers in their respective fields: Dr. Cepi Riyana, M.Pd, a Lecturer at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and Musfiah Sidah, M.Si, a Lecturer in the Communication and Islamic Broadcasting Program at UIN Jakarta.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah, Dr. Yuli Yasin, M.A., who, in his speech, emphasized the importance of technological adaptation in education. “The use of digital media is no longer an option but a necessity for educators to make learning more effective and engaging for students,” he stated.

In the material presentation session, Dr. Cepi Riyana, M.Pd. explained various strategies for using digital media, including the utilization of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other interactive platforms to enhance student engagement. Meanwhile, Musfiah Saidah, M.Si. highlighted the role of digital communication in learning and how to create engaging and relevant educational content.

Participants showed great enthusiasm for the workshop, especially during the discussion and hands-on practice sessions on digital media usage. It is hoped that through this event, lecturers will be able to implement digital technology in their lectures, thereby improving the quality of learning at the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah UIN Jakarta.
