Ciputat, June 12, 2024 - The Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah and the Student Executive Board (DEMA) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully organized a public speaking workshop entitled "From Fear to Confidence: Building Your Public Speaking Skill". The event was held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Dirasat Islamiyah Faculty Hall and was attended by all students of the faculty.

This workshop presented a prominent speaker, M. Syafiul Muktafa, CMC, C.PS, C.T, who is widely recognized as an expert in the field of public speaking and communication. In this event, M. Syafiul Muktafa shared various techniques and strategies to build confidence in public speaking.

"We are very excited about this workshop. The aim is to provide students with provisions to improve their public speaking skills, which are important skills in the academic and professional world," said the Chairman of DEMA Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah in his speech.

During the workshop, participants were given the opportunity to practice and get direct feedback from M. Syafiul Muktafa. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the many questions and active interaction throughout the event.

"I was very inspired by the material presented and feel more confident to speak in public. This is a very valuable experience for me," said one of the workshop participants.

This event is expected to be the first step for Dirasat Islamiyah students in developing their public speaking skills, so that they can be better prepared to face various challenges in the future.

With the end of this workshop, the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah and DEMA UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta hope to continue organizing similar activities that can support student self-development in various fields.***
